Health Benefits
of Using a
Far-Infrared Sauna
Pain Relief:
Helps relieve pain by expanding
blood vessels and increasing
circulation.
Immune System
Improvement:
The deep heat acts like a fever and improves the immune
system and its ability to fight bacteria, viruses, and
other pathogens.
System
Detoxification:
Toxins are eliminated by the body during sweating.
Research has shown that sweat from the body contains
80-85% water and the remaining 15-20% to be toxins.
Weight Control:
Due to the increase of metabolism during the sauna
process the body can burn between 600-900 calories in a
30 minute session.
Cardiovascular Fitness:
As the body sweats the heart rate and output increases
along with the dilation of the blood vessels thus
increasing the flow of oxygen to body tissue.
Stress
Reduction:
Help to revitalize and relax tense muscles therefore
improving circulation and calming the body.
Skin
Rejuvenation:
Increasing the blood circulation and the deep cleaning
of impurities improves skin tone and elasticity.

What is
Far-Infrared
Radiant Heat?
Far-Infrared
(FIR) heat is a form of naturally occurring
energy heat that directly heats objects by
gentle infrared radiation heat, rather than by
raising the temperature of the surrounding air.
FIR heat is completely safe for the human
body. Physical therapists often use FIR heat to
promote healing and hospitals use the
same heat in incubators to keep premature babies warm.
The FIR waves are tuned to provide high
absorption by the human body (as much as 93%)
and deep penetration of the skin. This produces
2-3 times more perspiration than conventional
saunas, which heat skin indirectly through the air.
FIR provides all the health
benefits of natural sunlight without the
harmful side effects of solar radiation such as,
ultraviolet rays associated with suntans and skin
cancer.
The Sauna Power FIR sauna
operates at lower temperatures than conventional saunas and only takes 5-10 minutes to warm up. Because the sauna uses only the equivalent power of a toaster or hair dryer the
cost savings are high.
